I needed this to help with my toddler’s hair as it was quite an uphill task braiding her hair. It was easy to unpack. A quick look at the manual tells you all you need to know, the temperature and filling the water tank (10mls) and there is a convenient 20 ml container that makes this a breeze. Since then braiding has eased up and I have used it to. The global voltage (110-240v) means I can use it in Africa and elsewhere- exactly what I needed. Heats up pretty quickly too. You can either get an exclusive pouch for it otherwise it fits it my toilet bag quite easily for trips. I do plan to get a pouch though. Great product.

I bought this because I‘m tired of frying my hair and my daughter’s hair. Not only does this steamer straighten our hair but our ends never have that fried look to them. The other thing I noticed is that this doesn’t burn our scalp either. While my hair isn’t that thick, my daughter’s hair is.
